The Datacard® SP25 Plus card printer delivers high-quality rewritable cards for
healthcare, education, transportation, retail and many other applications. This unique
printer gives card issuers an affordable way to change the information on existing
photo IDs and cards instantly, without the time and cost of reissuing it.

Innovative printing technology.The SP25 card printer is engineered with
innovative rewritable card technology. It prints 300 dpi monochrome text and
photos on rewritable card stock, which features a clear, heat-sensitive layer that can
be erased and rewritten more than 500 times. Users feed rewritable cards manually
and the SP25 printer fully erases and rewrites each one in just over 10 seconds.

Rewritable and reusable cards. Card issuers can use the SP25 card printer to
create both rewritable and reusable cards. Rewritable cards are updated frequently
with dynamic information that is pertinent to the cardholder, such as loyalty
points. Reusable cards are issued to new cardholders every time they are rewritten,
such as visitor IDs. Both applications eliminate the supply costs of reissuing.

Dual-function card printing. The SP25 card printer also offers full-colour card
printing, making it the only system available that comes standard with full colour/
monochrome and rewritable card printing. Dual functionality enables you to
print photo IDs and other cards that use both technologies, such as a full-colour
student ID with a current class schedule on the rewritable side.
