The most significant
pieces of ancillary equipment are related to
door exit control. If a night latch is already
fitted, exiting can simply be achieved by
turning the handle on the inside of the
lock.
If there is no handle on
the inside of a door, or if a mag lock is
fitted, a means of release is required on the
inside of the door. This can be achieved through
a simple switch or a sensitive touch to
exit.
